Cool Font Copy

Cool fonts to copy and paste

Type your text, then tap any style to copy it.

How to use these cool fonts

  1. Type or paste your text in the box at the top. Every style updates as you type.
  2. Copy a style. Press Copy, or on a phone tap anywhere on the row.
  3. Paste it into your bio, caption, post, game name or message.

Your text stays in the box when you come back, and the page address keeps it too, so you can bookmark or share a link that opens with your text already in place.

Why copy and paste fonts work everywhere

Apps like Instagram, TikTok and X do not let you pick a font. These text fonts get around that because they are not fonts at all. Unicode, the character standard behind all text on phones and computers, includes complete sets of styled letters, first added for mathematics: bold, italic, script, gothic Fraktur, double-struck and more. The generator replaces each letter with its styled twin. The result is plain text, so it survives copying and pasting into any app.

The same trick covers bubble letters, small caps, superscript, fullwidth vaporwave text and upside down text, plus combining marks that strike through or underline every character.

Done right, letter by letter

Many font generators leave gaps. Unicode encoded a few script, gothic and double-struck letters, such as โ„ฌ, โ„Œ and โ„, before the rest of their sets, so the main block has empty slots for them. Generators that ignore this show missing boxes in words with those letters. This one uses the official characters for every gap, keeps accented letters, other alphabets and emoji unchanged, and handles emoji in your text without breaking them.

Use them for decoration, not for the important part

Screen readers and search engines do not read these characters as normal letters. A blind follower may hear every letter spelled out by its symbol name, and a styled name can be harder to find in search. Style a word or two for flair and keep names, links and key information in plain text.

Questions and answers

How do these fonts work if I cannot install fonts on Instagram?

They are not fonts in the usual sense. Unicode, the standard every phone uses for text, contains thousands of letter-like symbols, such as a set of bold letters and a set of script letters made for mathematics. The generator swaps each of your letters for one of those symbols. Because the result is ordinary text, you can paste it anywhere that accepts text.

Where can I paste cool fonts?

Almost anywhere: Instagram bios and captions, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube comments, Discord, Steam and game names, and messages. A few fields only accept plain letters, for example Instagram usernames and many email or login forms.

Why do some letters show up as boxes?

The device reading your text has no font with that symbol. Bold, italic, script and double-struck work on practically every phone and computer made in the last ten years. Rarer symbols, used in some upside down and small caps letters, can still show as boxes on older devices.

Why are some characters not converted?

Unicode only has styled versions of the basic Latin letters A to Z, and digits for some styles. Accented letters, other alphabets, emoji and most punctuation stay as they are.

Can screen readers read these fonts?

Not well. These are not real fonts but separate Unicode symbols, so a screen reader may spell out each one ("mathematical bold capital S") or skip it. Keep important information, like your name, contact details or a call to action, in plain text.

Is my text saved or sent anywhere?

Your text is converted in your browser. It is kept in your browser's storage and in the page address so a reload keeps it. Nothing is stored on a server.
